Male found unresponsive on Putney Road dies after emergency response

Brattleboro Police and Fire were called late Tuesday afternoon to Putney Road near Bradley Avenue for a reported medical emergency, according to a news release. First responders arrived and found a man lying along the roadside. Efforts to revive him were made at the scene but were unsuccessful, and he was later pronounced dead. Authorities said the death was determined to be natural, and a funeral home assumed custody of the body. The Brattleboro Fire Department assisted at the scene.
