SAU 29 has named Anne Elser as its next director of student services, with the appointment set to take effect July 1. Elser most recently worked as out-of-district coordinator for the Bedford School District, according to a Wednesday announcement from Superintendent Robert Malay.
The same release said Sharyn D’Eon, Chesterfield Central School’s principal since 2006, has taken a new role as an assistant superintendent with N.H. School Administrative Unit 29. She started that job on Monday and is filling the vacancy left by Brian Campbell, who resigned at the end of the school year.
D’Eon’s move marks another step in a career that began with the SAU in 1991, when she was hired as a teacher at Franklin Elementary in Keene. She later became assistant principal at Chesterfield in 2002 before taking over as principal four years later.
The announcement did not identify who will serve as Chesterfield Central School’s next principal. SAU representatives were not immediately available Wednesday afternoon to provide additional details.
