A judge has set tighter requirements for Jade Galford if she seeks release on personal recognizance while facing a second-degree assault charge tied to injuries her 1-month-old son allegedly suffered.
Galford, 22, is accused of fracturing the baby’s leg and ribs during an incident prosecutors say happened in frustration. She was initially ordered held without bail on Aug. 7 after her arraignment, and the court also barred her from contacting either her infant son or her 11-month-old daughter.
At a probable cause hearing on Wednesday, the court added more conditions that would apply if she is released. Those terms include electronic monitoring, a ban on leaving the state and participation in behavioral health court.
