Investigators believe the two men were with each other in the events that led to the injuries.
The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is examining a fatal incident in Peterborough after police were called to Grove Street at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday for a disturbance.
When first responders reached the scene, they located one man dead in the driveway with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Inside the residence, they found another man who lives there and who appeared to have several stab wounds. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe the two men were involved with each other in the events that led to the injuries, and officials say there is no known danger to the public.
The case remains active as authorities continue to gather information.
