No one was inside the building when the fire broke out, and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters from several towns spent more than three hours battling a second-alarm blaze that leveled a camp used for storage at 107 Rodgers Road on Thursday morning, according to Fire Chief Mike Kercewich.
No one was inside the building when the fire broke out, and no injuries were reported. Kercewich said crews were called to the scene around 6 a.m.
The cause has not been determined, and investigators have little evidence left to work with because the structure was largely consumed by the flames. Kercewich also said he could not yet estimate the dollar amount of the damage.
Fire departments from Marlow, Gilsum, Surry, Acworth and Lempster assisted Alstead crews at the scene.
