A 27-year-old Bennington man is scheduled to appear in court on Monday after Vermont State Police said he threatened people in Readsboro earlier this month.
Police said they were notified on Oct. 7 about a dispute in the southern Vermont town involving Damien T. Stratton. Investigators allege he threatened several local residents and displayed a gun to one person during the incident.
Stratton is being held on $50,000 bail. He is charged with Aggravated Assault, two counts of Criminal Threatening, Reckless Endangerment, and False Swearing.
